Sunset Pictures And Holiday Wishes

A friend of Hullblog snapped these photos of the sunset last Sunday evening. He is living in California these days but came back to visit family for the holidays, and share in our winter wonderland as well. They were taken at the base of Green Hill looking across Straits Pond.

Photo by HullblogDue to a busy schedule and this being a one person operation, Hullblog has been quiet recently. I plan on getting it back in action very soon and invite anyone who is reading this out there to submit entries on any and all Hull related topics. It's not like there isn't a ton of stuff going on around town.

happy new year to the board of selectmen. my taxes went up $1,000! what do i have to show for living here? the schools are a mess, town hall is corrupt, meschino wants to build a new library for what? no one cares about the old one. the cake taker is olivieri has ANOTHER forcloser. which follows 2 bankruptcys. that stiff doesn't even have the decency to show up at the selectmens meeting where he gets FREE health insurance. all they care about is liquor and food permits so they can eat and drink for free all year long.

Wow...if you have any proof about those statements of eating and drinking for free, contact the state ethics board. It is against the law. Otherwise you should not make slanderous statements like that. You obviously don't do any fact checking because ( as stated numerous times during budget meetings, town meetings etc) any elected official getting health insurance pays the same percentage as any other town employee. So it is not free as you stated.
You are well known as a crank on this blog. Stop whinning and do something, get involved. Do you have better ideas or solutions? A better system? Let's hear it.

to Lucy, my daughter bussed tables in one of the more popular places in town. on a weekly schedule two of the selectmen (one not reelected and one still hanging on)came in to eat and drink. not only did they not pay the bill they stiffed the waitress! needless to say my young daughter had more morals than either of the bums and quit. babysitting wasn't much money but she didn't have to be a witness to corruption to do it. report them to the ethics board you say? for what, if the restaurant owner who is getting a sweetheart deal from the town doesn't care what am I going to do about it. the health insurance is free if the job you are supposed to be doing is a no show. and even if Olivieri did show up it is for only two meetings a month. is that worth the price of a teacher or firefighter to you? not me. my better idea is to elect people who actually pay their bills. and lets not stop there. how about that witch Meschino attacking an elderly grandmother during a public meetings? and threating Hull citizens and taxpayer when they ask questions at a meeting or disagree with her. lets elect people who will show up and discuss all the issues in an open meeting and not make the sweetheart deals and padded contracts in secret meetings leaving the public out. hows that for a start Miss Lucy?
