Hey, why is Garrett holding the DCR parking hearing in Hingham and not in Hull?

His district office is in Hingham.

So?
Could you imagine asking people from Hingham to drive to Hull? Or people from Cohasset?
I'm not saying it's a them-vs-us thing, but it just sounds dumb to hold a meeting about an issue in one town in another town. Whether you're the rep for both or not. DCR has buildings here that could have been used.

Bradleys useless any way he doesn't do jack for Hull. I bet he will be shaking hands at town meeting when its election time.

Garrett's district office serves all of his towns. And it's like all of 5 minutes from Hull! He worked hard with DCR and locals to get money set aside in a trust fund for the beach parking lot, and he raised money and helped restore the Carousel. He's working on seawall funding. He fought the MBTA to keep the commuter boat running. He filed legislation that would get extra money for Hull schools (supplementing the Chapter 70 aid formula). He comes to events, works with residents and local officials all the time. We're lucky to have Bradley as our Rep!

I am curious to know how the meeting went. I personally would like to see Nantasket added to the DCR season parking pass. Now that the increase has taken effect, which needed to happen, the season pass would benefit and be appropriate to those whom are daily visitors. I would have liked to attend the meeting but had school that evening. Thank you. JB
